Rent-a-tent

For those who like tot travel nice and light, we have various options to rent a tent:
A simple small shelter/dome € 5,- p.n. + basic tariff p.p.p.n.
A furnished 4 to 6 persons tent € 35,- p.n. + basic tariff p.p.p.n.
A furnished 9 - 12 persons tent € 40,- p.n. + basic tariff p.p.p.n.

Your rent-a-tent is nice and ready when you arrive, the furnished ones (of average standing height) with beds, chair and table. All you have to bring is your sleepingbag and such (plus of course whatever you might deem necessary, like a toothbrush. Please inquire about the possibilities and reserve in advance to avoid deceptions!

Extra comfort


If you wish there may be electricity and/or a small heater made available on your campsite for a small fee. Again: please inquire about the possibilities and reserve in advance to avoid deceptions!

There are, on the outside of the building, 2 ladies- and 2 gent’s showers, each has a separate lavatory as well. Please leave them as clean as you possibly can for the next guest. Of course the facilities inside are there for you as well during opening hours.

The inner biker

Herberg "Het IJzeren Paard" offers a range of snacks, a dish-of-the-day, but also serves food a la carte. In the mornings we serve a breakfast, for which we appreciate your ordering in the previous evening

Diner 18:00 - 20:00 PM
Snacks 14:00 PM until an hour before closing hours
And last but not least, we have a well stocked bar where you are most welcome during opening hours!

Furthermore


  • We welcome dogs, but please keep them on a leash, for your peace of mind and that of other guests.
  • Wanna go somewhere without your dog? Inquire about the availability of a bench!!
  • We can not allow open fire, but there is a barbecue or terrace-furnace lit on the main terrace. And if you insist on bbq close to your tent, please take the trouble to fetch a tile for under your bbq .....thanks!!
  • Please consider the (lack of) space available when picking your spot.
  • Camping regulations: Respect (towards our other guests, nature and environment, staff and direction, so we all can have a good time, that’s what this place is about……!).
  • Please register upon arrival, we are legally obliged to maintain a thorough registration of our guests.
  • This is a biker camping so automobiles are not allowed on the premises. Parking outside is allowed.
  • Herberg "Het IJzeren Paard" does not accept any responsibility for any damage or missing people or property on/from our premises.
